The Last Week of Training Run

Distance: 10km
Pace: 6"/km
Time: 10:52 pm to midnight
Running buddy: My brother

This is the final week of training.

Dressed up in my runner's gear, I decided that I should skip the run today. I was excited to be shopping and packing up for Yangon.

I got home at 9 pm after running chores around town. Guilt seeped in for not running. Found my brother at home about to leave.

Dee: I wish I could go for a run.

At 10:40 pm, bro turned up at my door.

Bro: Let's go.

Dee: You serious??

12 midnight, we completed a 65 minute run.

Thank you for an awesome brother! ♥

The TGIF Run

Each run is a test of endurance. Heavy rain, strong wind, too hot, some dinners and something would just pop up to make you want to stop running. And if you wonder what's trying to stop me from a run today?

Curry.

Each step I took, felt like chilli doing somersaults in my tummy. The burning sensation made me wanna stop but I managed 10km. So just don't eat curry if you plan to run.

BUT something will pop up again tomorrow because life is like a box of chocolate.

Just don't give in and keep moving.

I could run the same place a hundred times and it will never look the same. Here is one spectacular sunset. I love Penang. :)

A Torn-Between-Work-&-Run Run

Due to security reasons, I shifted my runs to Straits Quay but where location is convenient, the closest to me is the Teluk Bahang dam.

There was an event happening in the office this evening. Again, had to rush off for a run and came back to shower in the office.

Again, better to run short than not at all.

Just do it.

A Botanical Garden Run

At 6am, there was this big round moon saying hello to me.
I finally manage to wake up at 5.30 am for a run. Sweet, I also managed to run slow slow for an hour and went for a scrumptious curry mee and Nescafe.

The best thing is that I would have a longer day.
